Altice USA, Discovery strike new distribution agreement

Altice USA Inc.'s Optimum and Suddenlink subscribers will continue to have access to Discovery Inc.'s roster of networks under a new distribution agreement.

The deal covers Discovery Channel (US), TLC (US), Animal Planet (US), Investigation Discovery (US), Science (US), OWN (US), American Heroes Channel (US), MotorTrend, Destination America (US), Discovery Family Channel (US), Discovery Life Channel (US), Discovery en Español (US), and Discovery Familia (US), a Feb. 23 statement said.

U.S. media company Discovery earlier renewed its carriage deal with New Zealand-based pay TV operator SKY Network Television Ltd.
