Short interest decreased across all geographic regions apart from Europe over the last month and only corporate bonds and European equities saw increases in utilization (short sale value (loans) vs value of institutional longs ).
The most shorted sectors per region were:
Global equities - Consumer services
Americas equities - Consumer durables
APAC equities - Household and personal products
European equities - Food retail
