Highlights
We assessed the December performance of each S&P 500 sector, and the top 10 performing stocks of the month in two infographics.
S&P Capital IQ® assesses the monthly performance of each S&P 500® sector. The Consumer Staples sector shows the most positive price change month over month, followed by the Utilities sector.
Year-To-Date, we saw Consumer Discretionary growing most substantially at 8.4%, followed by Health Care at 5.2%.
