ADFlow Is Enhancing SSI Data Quality and Validation to Support ISO 20022 Readiness

As the industry prepares for the upcoming ISO 20022 mandate, organizations are evaluating how changes to settlement and reference data requirements will impact their operations. While ISO 20022 introduces new data standards, the benefits extend beyond compliance, helping firms improve data quality, reduce operational risk and support more efficient settlement processing. To help clients prepare, ClearPar has introduced enhancements within ADFlow—now live as of 27 July—designed to strengthen Standing Settlement Instruction (SSI) data capture and validation.

Enhanced SSI Data Capture

ADFlow users must now capture Beneficiary Address and Beneficiary Bank Address information directly within SSI records. During SSI creation or modification, users must populate these fields to help ensure settlement information is complete and standardized. 

Stronger Validation to Improve Data Quality

Enhanced validation rules will require Beneficiary Town Name and Country for all SSIs, and Beneficiary Bank Town Name and Country when a Beneficiary SWIFT code is not provided. Dynamic field behavior will simplify data entry and improve accuracy.

Reducing Manual Effort Through Address Auto-Population

ADFlow will leverage AI-powered capabilities to streamline the extraction and pre-population of Beneficiary Address details from qualifying machine-readable tax forms.

Enhanced Document Output

To support greater transparency and consistency across settlement workflows, Beneficiary Address and Beneficiary Bank Address information will now be included within ADF PDF outputs.

By incorporating these additional data points directly into generated documentation, firms can benefit from greater visibility into critical settlement information while maintaining alignment with evolving ISO 20022 data standards. Where values are unavailable, fields will continue to display as blank.

Pricing Document Updates

To help users access and manage the same enhanced settlement data across workflows, the new Beneficiary Address and Beneficiary Bank Address fields is available within the Pricing Document. This ensures greater consistency across the platform and provides teams with easier access to the information needed to support accurate settlement processing and operational readiness. Where values are unavailable, the fields will continue to display as blank.
