Lucid’s Future Vehicles to drive growth outlook

As Lucid Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID) looks beyond its luxury sedan and SUV, Visible Alpha consensus shows analysts expect the company’s next wave of lower-cost electric vehicles to become the key engine of growth.

The US carmaker plans to roll out its first midsize electric SUV in 2026, part of a category it has branded “Future Vehicles.” These models will be built on new platforms aimed at higher-volume, lower-price segments—marking a shift from Lucid’s current line-up of the premium Air sedans and Gravity SUVs.

Consensus estimates from Visible Alpha suggest that the new range could significantly expand sales volumes while lowering Lucid’s average selling price (ASP). Priced at an estimated ASP of $58,040 in 2027, Future Vehicles are projected to be far more affordable than the Air ($73,371) and Gravity ($88,519).

Analysts forecast Future Vehicles unit sales of 18,750 in 2027, generating about $1.1 billion in revenue. By 2030, sales from the segment could rise to $6.4 billion, making it Lucid’s largest revenue contributor.

The growth in Future Vehicles is set against a backdrop of strong momentum across the portfolio. Lucid’s overall revenue is projected to climb 60% year-on-year to $1.3 billion in 2025. Air remains the backbone with $920 million in expected sales, while Gravity—launched late last year—is forecast to scale quickly, with revenue jumping from $13 million in 2024 to $316 million in 2025.
