Rostelecom, National Media Group to merge OTT platforms – Broadband TV News

Russia's Rostelecom PJSC and National Media Group JSC, or NMG, agreed to merge their over-the-top platforms and more.TV in a joint venture, Broadband TV News reported July 5, citing a statement.

The joint venture, to be owned 70% by Rostelecom and 30% by NMG, will operate under the Wink brand, according to the report.

Rostelecom and NMG reportedly plan to slowly merge services, content libraries and client bases and set up one competence center for original content production by the end of the year.
