Flywire acquires Australia-based education payments provider Cohort Go

Payments enablement and software company Flywire Corp. completed its acquisition of Australia-based education payments provider Cohort Solutions Pty. Ltd.

The acquisition will build on Flywire's existing education business to grow its agent focus and team, while allowing the company to advance product and payment innovation for international students and to further invest in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a news release.

Flywire said the integration of Cohort Go into its existing agent platform will allow it to provide added value to agents, payers and educational institutions.

The transaction is expected to be modestly accretive to revenue and adjusted EBITDA.
