Fluence Energy, Rich Electric team up for 100-MW battery system in Taiwan

Fluence Energy Inc. is partnering with Rich Electric to deploy a 100-MW battery-based energy storage system located in Hualien, Taiwan.

The planned project will support Taiwan Power Co.'s, or Taipower's, automatic frequency control services, which help stabilize the Taiwanese power grid. The companies target completion of the project in mid-2023, according to a July 4 news release.
