M&T Bank president/COO to retire

M&T Bank Corp. President and COO Richard Gold will retire after the first quarter of 2023.

Gold will remain on the Buffalo, N.Y.-based company's board.

Gold joined M&T Bank in 1989 and was named the bank's president and COO in 2017.
