JPMorgan hires managing director in healthcare i-banking group – Bloomberg

JPMorgan Chase & Co. appointed Doug Solomon managing director in its healthcare investment banking division, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Solomon will lead the coverage of medical device companies in North America and will report to Mike Gaito, global head of healthcare investment banking. Solomon previously worked at Barclays PLC as managing director.

The move comes after two medical technology bankers, Rakesh Mehta and Najeeb Ali, left JPMorgan for Centerview Partners LLC, the news outlet said.
