Quilter appoints new chair; Bank Norwegian names CFO

Quilter

Quilter PLC appointed Glyn Barker as chair of the British asset management company's board, effective Sept. 7. Barker replaces Ruth Markland, who was interim chair.

Barker will initially join Quilter's board as a nonexecutive director from June 1.

Barker currently serves as chairman and as a nonexecutive director at U.K. homebuilder The Berkeley Group Holdings PLC. He will step down from those posts by Sept. 6.

Neeta Atkar, a former chief risk officer at TSB Banking Group PLC, will also join Quilter's board as a nonexecutive director, beginning Aug. 11.

Bank Norwegian

Bank Norwegian ASA named Mats Benserud CFO, effective June 1.

Benserud has been head of treasury and investor relations at the Norway-based bank since 2018.
