OTC Markets Group completes acquisition of Blue Sky Data Corp assets for $12M

OTC Markets Group Inc. completed its acquisition of assets from Blue Sky Data Corp, a provider of equity and debt compliance data on state "blue sky" securities rules and regulations, for roughly $12 million in cash.

The transaction includes substantially all of the assets of Blue Sky Data Corp, including customer contracts and intellectual property.

The acquisition will let OTC Markets Group enhance its value proposition and expand its subscriber base through improvements to its existing "blue sky" data offering, according to a news release.

Piper Sandler & Co. was financial adviser and Bressler Amery & Ross PC was legal counsel to OTC Markets Group in connection with the deal.
