Comerica's legal chief departing; First Western Trust Bank adds market president

John Buchanan, legal chief of Dallas-based Comerica Inc., is leaving the company on or about June 6.

Buchanan ceased serving as chief legal officer and corporate secretary May 6, but will remain an executive vice president until his departure date for transition purposes.

The company named Von Hays, a senior vice president, interim chief legal officer.

Denver-based First Western Trust Bank hired Heath Kinsland as market president focusing on the Denver Tech Center area.

Kinsland previously held leadership roles at Flatirons Bank in Boulder, Colo., and Truist Financial Corp.

PNC Financial Services Group Inc. added Renu Khator to its board of directors, effective May 10.

Khator is chancellor of the University of Houston System and president of the University of Houston.

Bradley is president and CEO of the Cambria Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Prince George, Va.-based Touchstone Bank, the banking subsidiary of Touchstone Bankshares Inc., named Jeffery Salmon senior vice president and secondary market manager.

Salmon most recently was mortgage sales manager with Essex Bank.

Tupelo, Miss.-based Cadence Bank appointed Mandy Mitchell chief experience officer.

Prior to the appointment, Mitchell was director of strategic initiatives for the bank.
