Technology-focused venture capital firm White Star Capital LP held a first close for its $120 million second digital asset fund.
The fund will make token and equity investments of between $1 million and $7 million in 20 to 25 cryptocurrency networks and early-stage, blockchain-based Web3 companies. It will mainly back businesses specializing in decentralized finance and gaming, with a core focus in North America, Europe and Asia.
Ubisoft Entertainment SA is an anchor limited partner of the fund.
