Kansas City Life elects president/CEO

Kansas City Life Insurance Co.'s board elected Walter Bixby president and CEO.

Bixby is also vice chairman of the board of Kansas City Life, president of Old American Insurance Co., and president and CEO of Grange Life Insurance Co.

Bixby is taking over the top-tier positions that were held by his brother, R. Philip Bixby, who announced his retirement.
