Walterboro, S.C.-based Bank of the Lowcountry named Carl Kilpatrick executive vice president, according to a press release posted on Walterboro Live's website.

Kilpatrick has more than 28 years' banking experience.

North Haven, Conn.-based Connex CU Inc. appointed David Birkins CFO and vice president of finance, New Haven Biz reported.

Birkins, who joined the credit union March 28, was previously COO and CFO at Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank.

First Horizon Bank hired Jim Donatelli as Tampa Bay market president, the (Sarasota, Fla.) Business Observer reported.

Donatelli joined the Tennessee-based bank from Regions Bank, where he held various positions for almost 14 years.
