Shareholders of WAM Active Ltd. voted against the off-market takeover bid of Keybridge Capital Ltd.
The Australia-based firm said in a March 15 release that more than 50.1% of its shareholders have already voted against the potential deal in an online vote.
Keybridge Capital proposed to acquire all currently issued and fully paid ordinary shares of the company, subject to acceptance of at least 50.1% of its shareholders and regulatory approvals.
WAM Active added it has not received any information on Keybridge Capital's six proposed directors.
