Nuveen Global Impact Fund raises $218M

Nuveen LLC, the investment manager of TIAA, held the final close of the Nuveen Global Impact Fund LP and its affiliated entities with $218 million in capital commitments.

The fund, which will tackle climate change and inequality, will be used to invest in businesses that reduce waste, improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, as well as expand and reduce the cost of basic products and services for underserved consumers.
