Fortum to build 600 MW of solar projects in India

Fortum Oyj secured rights from Solar Energy Corp. of India to build 600 MW of solar projects in Karnataka, India.

The two solar power parks under the contract are expected to reach commissioning by 2024, Fortum said Feb. 4.

Under 25-year power purchase agreements with Solar Energy Corp. of India, the solar projects will be entitled to fixed tariffs.
