John Cummings has joined Dallas-based Texas Capital Bancshares Inc. as executive vice president and chief administrative officer, effective Jan. 21.
Most recently Citigroup Inc.'s wealth advisory head, Cummings will lead Texas Capital Bank's community development, corporate communications, corporate real estate, corporate security, operations and marketing departments and the consumer production lines of business.

HSBC North America Holdings Inc. and HSBC Bank USA NA added Deborah Bailey, Melvin Flowers, George Madison and Alice Schroeder to their boards.
Bailey is a former managing director with KPMG and Deloitte LLP and a former deputy director of the Federal Reserve Board. Flowers is a former corporate vice president of the internal audit and risk management function at Microsoft Corp.
Madison was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, and Schroeder is a nonexecutive director at U.K.- and U.S.-listed businesses, privately held companies and regulated subsidiaries.
Flowers' and Madison's appointments were effective Jan. 11. Bailey and Schroeder were named to the boards in October 2021.

New York-based Popular Bank appointed Adam Dejak national director of residential lending for Popular Mortgage.
Dejak most recently served as director of residential mortgage lending at Sterling National Bank.

Winter Haven, Fla.-based SouthState Bank NA expanded its commercial and wealth business lines with the addition of nine bankers.
The bank named John Lane, previously with Truist Financial Corp., commercial team leader in Raleigh, N.C. Former Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc. investment banker David Adams will serve as director of governmental and not-for-profit banking in Charlotte, N.C.
Lane and Adams are joined by seven other bankers.

Morrisville, Vt.-based Union Bank promoted Melissa Greene and Sue Perry from vice presidents to senior vice presidents.
Greene is a human resources officer and Perry is a commercial loan officer for the bank.

Vancouver, Wash.-based Riverview Bancorp Inc.'s executive vice president and chief banking officer, Kim Capeloto, will leave the bank in February.
Capeloto joined Riverview Community Bank in 2010.

Fairmont, W.Va.-based MVB Financial Corp. named Daniel Holt to its board.
Holt is co-founder and CEO of bill management and payments platform BillGO Inc.

James Scott Jr. will resign from the board of Billings, Mont.-based First Interstate BancSystem Inc., effective upon the closing of the company's business combination with Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Great Western Bancorp Inc.
Scott's resignation was not due to any disagreement with First Interstate.
