Scor reinsurance sidecar gets $200M investment

Scor SE has secured a $200 million investment into the Atlas Gotland Worldwide Catastrophe Sidecar from Swedish pension fund Alecta.

The sidecar is a segregated account of Bermuda-based special purpose reinsurer Atlas Re Ltd.

Through a multiyear agreement, Alecta will benefit from the performance of a diversified property catastrophe reinsurance portfolio of Scor Global P&C.
