Look Cycle, a French bicycle manufacturer, will join the auction pipeline at the end of January, according to market sources.
The company will be marketed at under €10 million EBITDA and is hoping to fetch about €100 million for the sale, the sources said. Lazard is advising on the sale.
In June 2016, Activa Capital took a majority stake in Look Cycle, alongside the existing owners, Dominique Bergin and Thierry Fournier.
Look is the inventor and a world leader in clipless pedals and invests around 10% of its turnover to research and development. Founded in 1951 in Nevers (France), the company makes ball bladders as well as frames and components for high-end racing bikes.
