DiamondRock acquires 2 Fla. resorts for $175.5M

DiamondRock Hospitality Co. purchased the Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Fla., and Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, Fla., in separate transactions for a total investment of $175.5 million.

The Henderson Beach Resort is a recently built luxury oceanfront resort with 170 rooms, 40,000 square feet of meeting space and other features.

The Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort features 103 units or 231 bedrooms and has 1,000 linear feet of shoreline spanning 12 acres.
