Bank of the James Financial Group closes acquisition of Pettyjohn Wood & White

Lynchburg, Va.-based Bank of the James Financial Group Inc. completed its acquisition of Pettyjohn Wood & White Inc. on Dec. 31, 2021.

Pettyjohn Wood & White is an SEC-registered investment adviser based in Lynchburg with over $650 million in AUM. As a result of the acquisition, it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of the James Financial Group.
