DEALS

* Middle-market private equity firm MidOcean Partners LLP acquired Casper's Ice Cream Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of branded and co-packed frozen novelty products.

* Highview Capital LLC acquired national facility services company Watterson Environmental Group LLC. The Schaumburg, Ill.-based company provides services including facilities management and emergency and disaster response.

*Levine Leichtman Capital Partners LLC sold its portfolio company LEG Inc., doing business as West Academic, to Barbri Inc. West Academic is a publisher of legal education materials.

*Corsair Capital LLC acquired a majority stake in Aurora Payments, which provides payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.

FUNDRAISING

* StageOne Ventures collected $235 million for its Fund IV. The latest fund will invest in early-stage Israeli companies.

* Refinery Ventures raised $37 million in new funds at the close of its Fund II. The vehicle will focus on companies that are at a critical stage of growth.

VENTURE CAPITAL

* Weka.IO Ltd., a provider of a data platform for artificial intelligence, collected $73 million in a round of funding, bringing its total amount raised to $140 million, FinSMEs reported. Hitachi Ventures GmbH led the round, with participation from MoreTech Ventures and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., among other investors, the report said.

* Healthcare technology company Waymark Inc. raised $45 million in a series A funding round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz LLC and New Enterprise Associates Inc. Lux Capital Management LLC, among other investors, also took part in the round.

* Symphonic Distribution Inc., an independent music distributor and technology platform, raised $37 million in a series B financing led by NewSpring Capital LLC and Ballast Point Ventures LP, with participation from other investors, Private Equity Wire reported.

* WhiteBox Technologies Inc., an eCommerce marketing and fulfillment technology company, secured $20 million in a financing round led by Delta-V Capital LLC, FinSMEs reported. Noro-Moseley Partners and TDF Ventures LLC, among other investors, participated in the round, according to the report.
