4iG completes acquisition of Hungary's Digi

IT service management company 4iG Nyrt. on Jan. 3 completed its acquisition of Hungary's DIGI Távközlési és Szolgáltató Kft. for approximately €625 million.

Digi, a unit of Romania Cable & Data Systems, is a leading provider of pay TV services in Hungary.

The transaction is part of 4iG's efforts to create a national telecom services and infrastructure company.

Digi Communications NV owns Romania Cable & Data Systems.
