The Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange have commenced proceedings to delist Just Energy Group Inc. securities.
The continued listing committee of the TSX is set to hold a meeting on March 15 to consider the delisting of the company's securities, according to a March 10 news release.
Separately, the NYSE Regulation staff has determined that Just Energy shares are no longer suitable for listing after seeking creditor protection from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and filing Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Just Energy will be able to review the NYSE determination. If Just Energy shares are delisted from the NYSE, they will commence trading on the OTC Pink Market in the U.S., the company in the release.
