Twelve members of the S&P 500 are expected to report quarterly earnings between March 10 and March 26, including FedEx Corp. and Accenture PLC

Four of the 11 sectors in the S&P 500 are expected to report year-over-year declines in aggregate EPS for the calendar fourth quarter of 2020. However, only the energy sector is expected to report an aggregate loss.


Last week, The Gap Inc. beat analyst estimates by 10 cents a share, posting quarterly EPS of 28 cents. Revenue fell 5.3% year over year to $4.42 billion, which was below the consensus estimate of $4.66 billion.
Meanwhile, Costco Wholesale Corp. reported EPS of $2.14, beating the mean estimate of $2.43 per share. In addition, revenue at the company grew to $44.77 billion, which was above the consensus estimate of $43.71 billion.
