RPT Realty names new managing director

RPT Realty appointed Tyler Sorenson managing director to oversee investments for its newly formed core net lease retail real estate platform.

Sorenson was the vice president of acquisitions at the single-tenant real estate investment trust Spirit Realty Capital Inc.

The platform was created with the company's co-investors GIC Pte. Ltd., Zimmer Partners LP and Monarch Alternative Capital LP.
