BBC First to launch in Canada through Blue Ant Media

The British Broadcasting Corp. unit BBC Studios Ltd. will launch BBC First in Canada through a partnership with local distributor Blue Ant Media Inc.

Ad-supported channel BBC First will be available on Blue Ant Media in HD beginning March 16 and will be aired on a nationwide free preview until April 16.

BBC First has been running in various markets such as Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore and Thailand.

Blue Ant Media has an existing partnership with the British broadcaster for BBC Earth.
