Mitsubishi UFJ Financial names new heads of business groups

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. said it made several executive changes, effective April 1.

The Japanese financial group appointed Atsushi Miyata head of its retail and commercial banking group. Miyata is currently managing executive officer and head of the company's wealth management unit.

The company also appointed Naomi Hayashi head of its Japanese corporate and investment banking group and Takayuki Yasuda as head of its asset management and investor services group.

Hayashi is currently a managing corporate executive and group CSO.

In addition, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial named Shigeru Yoshifuji head of its global markets group. Yoshifuji is currently a managing executive officer and deputy group head of the company's global markets business group.
