TDS promotes executive to chief security, privacy officer

Telephone and Data Systems Inc. promoted Jessica Bartley to vice president-IT security and chief security and privacy officer, effective January 2022.

Bartley, now director-business intelligence and IT security, is replacing Ted Wiessing, who will become TDS' senior security adviser, according to a Dec. 14 news release. Wiessing will remain senior vice president-technology for TDS unit OneNeck IT Solutions LLC.

TDS is a U.S.-based provider of wireless, broadband, video and voice, and hosted and managed services.
