Captrust Financial Advisors acquires Boston-based RINET

Captrust Financial Advisors LLC acquired RINET Co. LLC, a Boston-based registered investment adviser with a "significant" offering in family office services, for an undisclosed sum.

RINET adds more than $2.2 billion assets to Raleigh, N.C.-based Captrust, according to a news release.

Pursuant to the transaction, RINET will operate under the Captrust brand. Its leaders, Brian Rivotto, Gary Savage and Rebecca Pouliot, will join Captrust along with 26 other colleagues.

Steven Levitt and Park Sutton Advisors served as the exclusive financial adviser to RINET on the transaction.
