* ArcLight Capital Partners LLC provided an initial investment of $200 million to electric vehicle solutions company Inspiration through its Arclight Energy Partners Fund VII LP.
* HC Private Investments invested fresh capital into logistics company Customized Distribution LLC. Winston & Strawn LLP was legal adviser to HC Private Investments. Wintrust Financial Corp. provided debt financing for the transaction.
* Middle-market private equity firm Transom Capital Group LLC divested Heath Zenith LLC, which offers outdoor home security lighting, to Globe Electric Co. Inc. Raymond James was Transom and Heath's financial adviser, while Kirkland & Ellis LLP was their legal adviser.
* TA Associates Management LP invested in Riskonnect Inc., with majority investor Thoma Bravo LP continuing to hold a significant equity investment in the risk management software platform.
* Stone-Goff Partners sold marketing and sales solutions provider The Channel Co. LLC to investment funds managed by middle-market investor EagleTree Capital LP. Jegi Clarity represented Channel on the deal and Fredrikson and Byron PA was its legal adviser.
* H2 Equity Partners BV signed an agreement to buy Acal BFi UK Ltd. from discoverIE Group PLC. The management team of Acal, a design and electronic components company, will also invest in the transaction.
* An investor group led by Centerbridge Partners LP and Advent International Corp. and including a Canadian pension fund is getting ready to make a formal bid as soon as Nov. 15 to purchase Germany's Aareal Bank AG for more than €1.7 billion, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
