Financial technology services provider WEX Inc. named Robert Deshaies COO of Americas.
Deshaies joined the company in 2014 and previously served as president of the company's health division. In his new role, he will oversee strategic growth and collaboration across fleet, health, corporate payments and travel domains in the Americas.
The company also moved Anthony Hynes to the executive adviser role. Hynes is currently the president of global travel.
All the changes will take effect on Jan. 1, 2022.
Scott Phillips, current president of global fleet, will leave the company on April 1, 2022. He will retain his current position until Jan. 1, 2022 and will facilitate in a smooth transition.
WEX also expects to appoint a COO for the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, and a chief digital officer in the coming months.
