Deutsche Telekom AG plans to slash about 3,000 jobs in Germany as part of a plan to cut costs, Telecompaper reported Oct. 22, citing German business publication Manager Magazin.
The job cuts will include full-time senior executives in high-level positions.
The intent to reduce employees is also a result of Deutsche Telekom's increased stake in unit T-Mobile US Inc., according to the report.
