Wyndham takes 7 hotels under Wyndham brand

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will open seven new hotel franchise agreements for its namesake Wyndham brand in the U.S.

The hotels are owned by hotel development company The Thrash Group and managed by Charlestowne Hotels Inc.

The properties include the five-hotel Origin Hotel Collection of The Thrash Group, namely the 126-room Origin Raleigh in Raleigh, N.C.; the 120-room Origin Lexington in Lexington, Ky.; the 123-room Origin Red Rocks outside of Denver in Golden, Colo.; the 128-room Origin Westminster between Denver and Boulder, Colo.; and the new five-story, 120-room Origin Austin in Mueller's Aldrich St. district in Austin, Texas, scheduled to open in early 2021.

The properties also include Hotel Tupelo, a four-story, 80-room hotel in downtown Tupelo, Miss., scheduled to open in late 2021, and Hotel Morgan, the 83-room historical hotel in Morgantown, W.Va., which opened in 1925 and is scheduled to reopen in early 2021, after completion of renovations.
