World Insurance finalizes Two Rivers Insurance acquisition

World Insurance Associates LLC finalized the acquisition of Two Rivers Insurance Co. from Burlington, Iowa-based Two Rivers Financial Group, Inc., effective Dec. 31, 2020.

The transaction covers Two Rivers Insurance Services and Employee Benefits Systems.

The acquired entity's entire team will join World Insurance. Todd Ackerman will continue as President and CEO of Two Rivers Insurance Services.

Two Rivers Insurance will retain its name and headquarters, with its offices in Fort Madison, West Des Moines, and Earlham to remain operational.

TAG Consulting Services advised World Insurance on the transaction and Giordano Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel. Marsh Berry & Co. Inc. acted as adviser to Two Rivers, while Dickinson Mackaman Tyler & Hagan provided legal counsel.
