Third Point Re chief legal officer to step down

Janice Weidenborner will step down as chief legal officer of Third Point Reinsurance Ltd., effective no later than the closing of the merger between the company and Sirius International Insurance Group Ltd.

She is currently executive vice president, group general counsel and secretary at Third Point Re.

Through the closing of the merger or on another mutually agreed date, subject to Bermuda immigration requirements, she will continue to serve in a senior role in the company's legal function, as well as continue to perform her other duties, including serving as the company's head of human resources on a full-time basis.
