PE firm LDC invests in eLearning company Omniplex

Private equity firm LDC (Managers) Ltd. invested an undisclosed amount in eLearning solutions provider Omniplex (Group) Ltd.

The mid-market private equity firm backed Omniplex's existing management team.

As part of the deal, LDC's Aziz Ul-Haq will join the board of Omniplex as a nonexecutive director, while Ken Hills will become nonexecutive chairman.

LDC received advice from BDO, DWF, PMSI and KPMG, while Omniplex was advised by Signia Corporate Finance and TLT.
