Mekong Capital raises $246M for 5th fund

Vietnamese private equity firm Mekong Capital held the final close of its fifth fund at $246 million, more than double its predecessor Mekong Enterprise Fund III LP.

Mekong Enterprise Fund IV LP makes investments in Vietnam of up to $35 million and has a 10-year life.

It expects to make about 12 investments in the retail, education, restaurants, consumer services, fast-moving consumer goods and healthcare sectors.
