M.D.C. Holdings declares special stock dividend

M.D.C. Holdings Inc. declared a special 8% dividend on the company's common stock.

The homebuilder said the special dividend will be distributed March 17 to shareholders of record March 3.

The stock dividend will be in the form of one additional M.D.C. common share for each 12.5 shares owned by shareholders on the record date.
