ICBC to name new president/vice chairman – Caixin

Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd. plans to appoint Liao Lin as its new president and vice chairman, Caixin reported Jan. 28, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

Liao is a senior executive vice president of the bank and took over as chief risk officer in April 2020. He replaces Gu Shu, who moved to Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. to become chairman.
