Gaming-peripherals maker Corsair Gaming Inc. promoted Thi La to president and COO.
La, who has been COO since 2013, will also continue to personally lead the company's memory product groups.
La's promotion is in line with strategic changes, which take effect immediately in a bid to add focus on Corsair Gaming's various product groups. The company promoted several other executives as part of the changes.
Bertrand Chevalier, previously chief sales officer, will become executive vice president of gaming products, which includes the gaming peripheral product teams and the recently acquired Scuf Gaming LLC. Newly hired Geoff Lyons will become senior vice president of PC gaming components.
Matthew Hsu, formerly vice president of research and development, will become senior vice president of system products that includes Corsair Gaming's systems division and Origin Systems. Michael Buchanan, previously vice president of European sales, will assume the role of senior vice president of worldwide sales. Julian Fest, formerly vice president and general manager of Corsair Gaming unit Elgato, will become senior vice president of streaming products.
La and all other company functions will continue reporting to founder Andy Paul, who will remain CEO of Corsair Gaming.
