Brookfield, Riverstone, others lead $800M-plus investment round for Loanpal

Loanpal LLC, which offers a point-of-sale payment platform for sustainable home solutions, raised more than $800 million in its maiden external investment round.

New Enterprise Associates Inc. and WestCap Group led the round, along with Brookfield Asset Management Inc., Riverstone Holdings LLC and private investors.

As part of the deal, New Enterprise Managing General Partner Scott Sandell and WestCap Managing Partner Laurence Tosi joined Loanpal's board.
