Power
* Spark Power Group Inc. announced the appointment of Dan Ardila as executive vice president and CFO, and co-founder Eric Waxman as chief investment officer, among other senior leadership changes.
* Jillian Evanko resigned from the boards of Alliant Energy Corp. and its subsidiaries Interstate Power and Light Co. and Wisconsin Power and Light Co.
* Martin Neubert will become chief commercial officer and deputy group CEO of Ørsted A/S and a new member of the executive board of the company, which is changing its organization structure. Ørsted's executive board will consist of CEO Mads Nipper, Neubert and CFO Marianne Wiinholt, while its executive committee will be made up of Nipper, Wiinholt, Neubert, an incoming COO, CEO of Onshore Declan Flanagan, and chief HR officer Henriette Fenger Ellekrog. Morten Buchgreitz and Anders Lindberg will leave the company.
* American Electric Power Co. Inc. appointed Amanda Riggs Conner as vice president for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and RTO strategy and policy, effective Jan. 30, according to a Jan. 28 news release.
* BGE named Chimaobi Chijioke as its vice president of customer operations, effective Jan. 24, the company said in a Jan. 28 news release.
* Enphase Energy Inc. named Allison Johnson as chief marketing officer, according to a Jan. 28 news release.
* UGI Corp. promoted Brendan Heck to vice president of environmental, social and governance to lead the corporation's ESG initiatives, according to a Jan. 27 news release.
* PNE USA Inc. promoted Karl Dahlstrom to CEO. Dahlstrom will succeed Ron Flax-Davidson.
* James Temerty is retiring from the Northland Power Inc. board of directors on Jan. 31.
* Exelon Corp.'s board of directors accepted the notice of retirement of Nicholas DeBenedictis as a member of the board.
* Pacific Gas and Electric Co.'s board of directors appointed Adam Wright as executive vice president of operations, COO and director. Sumeet Singh, the interim president, will return to his role as senior vice president and chief risk officer of the utility. Pacific Gas and Electric parent company PG&E Corp. named Julius Cox vice president of people and shared services. Separately, Berkshire Hathaway Energy named Kelcey Brown CEO, president and director of MidAmerican Energy Co., succeeding Wright.
* CMS Energy Corp. and Consumers Energy Co. on Jan. 25 said they appointed Christine Wisniewski, current executive director of operations performance analytics, as vice president of operations performance, effective Feb. 1, according to a news release.
* PPL Corp. Chairman William Spence will retire from the board March 1. Craig Rogerson will become PPL's independent board chair the same day.
Oil and gas utility/midstream
* Antero Resources Corp. director Paul Korus will retire from the company's board.
* New investment firm Engine No. 1 nominated Gregory Goff, Kaisa Hietala, Alexander Karsner and Anders Runevad to Exxon Mobil Corp.'s board of directors.
* Oceaneering International Inc. appointed Karen Beachy and Kavitha Velusamy as independent, non-executive directors, according to a Jan. 27 news release.
* Cenovus Energy Inc. is expected to terminate more than 2,000 employees over two months starting Jan. 26 in the wake of its merger with Husky Energy Inc.
* Kimmeridge Energy Management Co. LLC has nominated Erin Blanton, Katherine Minyard and Benjamin Dell as independent directors to Ovintiv Inc.'s board.
* The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America appointed DTE Midstream President and COO David Slater as its chairman for a one-year term. The association's board of directors also named Kinder Morgan Inc.'s President of North Region Gas Pipelines Kimberly Watson as its first vice chair and Southern Co. Gas' President of Commercial Business Peter Tumminello as its second vice chair.
* Premier Oil PLC announced the proposed appointment of Alexander Krane as CFO. Krane will succeed Richard Rose, who will resign as interim CEO and finance director.
Regulator
* U.S. President Joe Biden appointed Christopher Hanson to serve as chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Hanson has been a member of the commission since June and replaces Kristine Svinicki.
