Dan is Co-Founder and one of the Managing Partners of iCapital, where he leads enterprise-level platform integration with banks, asset managers, wirehouses, and other large-scale organizations. He is also a member of the company’s Operating Committee and Investment Committee.
Dan is Co-Founder and one of the Managing Partners of iCapital, where he leads enterprise-level platform integration with banks, asset managers, wirehouses, and other large-scale organizations. He is also a member of the company’s Operating Committee and Investment Committee. Prior to founding iCapital, Dan was head of private real estate capital raising at Fir Tree Partners, a $12.5 billion AUM multi-strategy investment firm. He was also a partner at Eaton Partners, where he was responsible for real estate and real asset fund origination, structuring, and distribution. Dan previously was Founder and CEO of Earnings.com, a leading financial database and aggregator of corporate events, which was acquired by Thomson Financial in 2001. He received a BS degree in finance and marketing from Cornell University. Dan also serves as a board member of the IPA (Institute for Portfolio Alternatives) and a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and NCREIF. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as an FSA license.

Chaya provides leadership and oversight to every aspect of the business but spends the majority of her time thinking about investing. From big picture analysis of asset allocation and portfolio construction to detailed investment research and due diligence, Chaya is integrally involved in all aspects of the investment process and makes all final investment decisions for the firm. She also personally maintains all client relationships. Prior to Virtera, Chaya spent more than a decade at Parkwood, the highly sophisticated investment office of the Mandel family and Mandel Foundation in Cleveland, where she was a Director responsible for oversight of the alternative investment portfolio. Chaya also spent the first five years of her career in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. She attended Columbia University where she earned a BA in mathematics cum laude, and she is a CFA charterholder and CAIA charterholder. Throughout her career, Chaya has received a number of accolades, including CIO Magazine’s 40 under 40 in 2014 and NextGen in 2018. She is actively involved in her community and sits on the board of directors for a number of nonprofit organizations.

Cameron has 12 years of experience in the investment industry and is currently part of Preqin’s Research Insights team based in London.
Cameron has 12 years of experience in the investment industry and is currently part of Preqin’s Research Insights team based in London. He focuses on private equity and venture capital with an additional focus on emerging markets. Before joining Preqin he worked on the international equity desk at the largest pension fund in Latin America, managing a multi-billion dollar Asia equity allocation. Cameron later went on to work for a Vietnam-based investment bank, writing investment research for global institutional clients with a focus on the financial sector. Cameron is a CFA Charter holder and an Economics graduate from the University of Manchester.
