Deepa Kumar is the head of Asia-Pacific Country Risk.
Deepa Kumar is the head of Asia-Pacific Country Risk. She leads a team that delivers thought leadership and analysis on a range of APAC-wide topics including political reordering, evolving regulatory trends, risk of conflict in the region, dynamics impacting regional supply chains, the future of technology governance, and the increasing importance of national security in regional trade and energy transition.
Deepa also leads analysis on India, and routinely contributes to corporate-wide initiatives focused on India. She co-heads the S&P Global India Research Chapter.
Deepa has a background in Indian parliamentary research and was previously an entrepreneur whose organization in New Delhi focused on increasing citizen engagement with political representatives.
Deepa holds a Master's in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Lewis Cooper is a Product Manager in Economic Indicators & Forecasts at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Lewis Cooper is a Product Manager in Economic Indicators & Forecasts at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Lewis is responsible for a portfolio of products within the Economic Indicators & Forecasts business including the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI). In this role, Lewis is responsible for the development and strategy of product and broader solutions, servicing clients across financial institutions, corporations, government, and central banks. In addition, Lewis provides his expertise, knowledge and insights to customers to support their decisions.
He has background in economics and previously worked as an economist, including for the PMI, where he was responsible for the production of various PMI reports and ad-hoc research and analysis. He joined S&P Global in 2019.
Lewis holds a BSc in Economics from Kingston University, London and a MSc in Economics from the University of Reading. Lewis is based in the UK.

Jingyi joined S&P Global Market Intelligence PMI team in 2021, bringing with her research experiences across both macroeconomics and financial markets.
Jingyi joined S&P Global Market Intelligence PMI team in 2021, bringing with her research experiences across both macroeconomics and financial markets. Her focus is on the Asia-Pacific region and can often be seen sharing her analysis and commentary across international business print and broadcast press.
Prior to joining the company, Jingyi had been a Senior Market Strategist with an investment brokerage firm and had work experience in economic forecasting, planning and policy.
Jingyi received her Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Economics from the National University of Singapore and Master of Science in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University. She is bilingual in English and Chinese

Hanna Luchnikava-Schorsch, principal economist for the Asia-Pacific region, is the lead India economist with the Global Economics group at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Hanna Luchnikava-Schorsch, principal economist for the Asia-Pacific region, is the lead India economist with the Global Economics group at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Her research focuses on macroeconomic, financial and business developments in Asia, with particular emphasis on India and South Asia. Among the issues she tracks are monetary and fiscal policies, financial and labor markets, as well as foreign trade and investment. She has prior experience in macroeconomic forecasting and market research gained with leading global institutions and firms, including the World Bank and McKinsey & Company.
Her university degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Belarusian State University, Minsk, Belarus, and a master's degree in International Economics and Finance from the International Business School at Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts, US.
