Join us for the first session of our APAC Insurance Insights mini‑series, focusing on how insurers across the region are managing credit risk today, across both life and P&C businesses, amid market volatility, evolving portfolios, and increasing reliance on AI-driven analytics and solutions.
This session is designed to share how insurers in APAC are approaching credit risk anchored on forward-looking analytics as a common foundation across insurance models, covering two core areas:
Life insurance: investment credit risk
As insurers move beyond traditional rated assets, investment teams are increasingly focused on diversification, internal credit views, and ALM‑driven portfolio decisions. We’ll explore how insurers are assessing credit risk within investment portfolios and strengthening internal perspectives to support long-term balance sheet resilience.
P&C insurance: underwriting and reinsurance decision‑making
In many APAC markets, insurers rely heavily on reinsurers, often with limited visibility into global risk views and counterparty strength. This session will examine how underwriting teams use credit insights to support risk-sharing decisions and enhance discussions on pricing, structure, and capacity.
We’ll also touch briefly on practical, insurer-ready AI, showing how embedded, purpose-built workflows, such as credit model and document-builder-style use cases, are helping teams work more efficiently while respecting regulatory and internal data constraints.
