Market Development EMEA - Credit Solutions, S&P Global Market Intelligence Shreya is a member of the Credit Solutions, Market Development team, based in the London office. She plays a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for RatingsDirect – CreditCompanion across the EMEA region, ensuring the successful rollout of this innovative generative AI solution to clients. Shreya joined the Credit & Risk Solutions business in November 2023, specializing in RatingsDirect and Credit Analytics. She has led product-focused engagements with a diverse portfolio of buy-side and sell-side clients throughout the UK and European markets. Her background is distinctly international. Shreya began her career as a financial journalist at Bloomberg Quint, covering macroeconomics, finance, and political news. She also has a strong interest in AI implementation, having previously worked at the London-based start-up Echobox, where she focused on integrating AI in newsrooms and led business partnerships for clients in Europe and APAC.

Paul Watters is Head of European Credit Research for S&P Global Ratings. Since 2017 he has been the chair of S&P’s European Credit Conditions Committee where senior analysts and economists examine macro credit trends and risks factors that may broadly impact Credit Ratings.
Prior to his current role Paul has held various senior product development, analytical, and research roles within S&P’s Leveraged Finance Group since joining S&P in January 2002, that included being a primary analyst for a portfolio of high yield credits in the metals and mining, chemicals, and oil and gas sectors.
Previous to S&P, Paul spent almost fifteen years working in debt capital markets in various senior trading and research roles with both Lehman Brothers and Nomura International.
Paul is a CFA Charterholder, and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

He has been a financial journalist for 23 years and has covered insurance and reinsurance for 20 of those years. Before joining S&P Global Market Intelligence in November 2017 Ben was finance editor at Insurance Times, a publication focusing on the U.K. general insurance market. He started his journalism career at Reactions, a magazine covering the global reinsurance market.

Alan Kwan is the Head of Market Development for Credit Solutions in Europe at S&P Global Market Intelligence. He specializes in developing and executing innovative go-to-market strategies that enable clients to effectively measure, monitor, and manage credit risk.
With extensive experience in the financial services sector, Alan previously drove product solutions at S&P Global Ratings, focusing on Sustainable Finance and Cyber Risk in the Asia-Pacific region. His prior roles include leading product strategy and content marketing at another international rating agency and serving as APAC Head of Marketing for the Investment and Advisory division at Thomson Reuters.
Alan holds an MBA from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®), Project Management Professional (PMP®), and Chartered Marketer. His expertise spans credit risk analysis, sustainable finance, and digital solutions, with a commitment to fostering innovation in the financial sector through new technology including Gen-AI.
